Emily Kalil

After many years as a dedicated summer camp director, where she inspired countless young people to explore, learn, and connect with the outdoors, Emily decided to turn her lifelong passion for adventure into a new chapter.
Now with her husband Aaron, they own and operate Northern Tales,  bringing the same spirit of curiosity and community to travellers of all ages. Her extensive background as both a dogsled guide and canoe guide adds tremendous value to the company, giving her a deep understanding of northern travel, safety, and storytelling.  Drawing on her deep experience in leadership, logistics, and outdoor education, Emily creates experiences that are both organized and heartfelt—blending the joy of discovery with the care and attention that all travellers deserve.
